3 Inches of Blood Release New Dates and Trailer for Documentary “The Warriors of the Great White North.”

3-inches-of-blood-long-live-heavy-metal-20120205064526In 2012, 3 Inches of Blood released their latest masterpiece Long Live Heavy Metal to rave reviews from both critics and fans alike.  The band hit the road and as city after city had the privilege of getting their faces melted off I slowly found myself pouting and almost giving up hope. I patiently waited for an Atlanta date and my patience seems to have paid off.

Just when I thought that they had lost all love for us out here in the Southeast, Canadian metal heroes 3 Inches of Blood recently announced another leg of their co-headlining tour with Goatwhore.  I couldn’t give a rat’s ass about Goatwhore but damn y’all.  THIS IS 3 INCHES OF BLOOD.  So worth the wait to see my metal heroes once again.  I better get my drip pan ready.  Hell, I should probably get some insurance on my face as it will surly be destroyed after this show.

In addition to continuing to tour behind Long Live Heavy Metal, 3 Inches of Blood also has a documentary about to be released titled The Warriors of the Great White North.  Filmaker Tom Macleod followed the band around for a month capturing live footage, behind the scenes footage, and interviews with band members. Macleod is currently submitting the film to festivals as well as seeking a distributor.  I personally think this is going to be a great documentary.  I’ve seen all these documentaries on huge bands and their adventures so I think it’s going to be a healthy dose of reality for people to see the true story of a hard working band just out their schlepping it in a van, staying in shitty motel rooms, and getting fucked up and melting faces in every town.
