HAPPY FUCKING NEW YEAR!

If you’re reading this you made it!  You made it through 2013.  Maybe you had a few cuts, scrapes, and bruises but you made it.  If you’re Whitechapel, the singer for Six Shot Revival, and/or Thundershield, maybe you even had your ego bruised but regardless, you made it!  You’re probably also nursing a wicked ass hangover and wondering just why the fuck you couldn’t fight the urge to read your favorite metal blog!  Well, HAPPY FUCKING NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!

2013 was a really monumental year and I can’t thank you all enough for all of the amazing support.  You read my articles, you put up with my opinionated, curmudgeonly rants yet you all come back for more.  For the most part, you all seem to get me.  You argue your points with me and you challenge my points and views.  No matter how much we may disagree and not be on the same page I love it that at the end of the day you all respect and appreciate my honesty.  I can promise you all one thing and that is that I will NEVER lie to you all.  I will always share my most honest opinion whether you (the reader) or the bands I talk about like it or not.

I don’t know you all on a name basis.  Some of you I know personally and some of you I have met through just doing this blog but regardless, you all are the energy that fuels me (that and burritos).  You all inspire me and encourage me to keep doing this and I cannot thank you all enough for that.  I hope that you all will keep coming back to the site and maybe even bring some friends over.  2014 is going to be another great year full of interviews, concert reviews, album reviews, and editorials from the Mouth of the Fart himself.

Thanks again and let’s do this shit shall we?  2014: The Year of the Fart!  Smell that?  That’s the smell of awesome!

Keep your heads up, your horns up, and always keep it metal!
