Welcome to the first of many installments of Tony Martin Tuesday! In the year 2015, the first and third Tuesday of each month will be known as TONY MARTIN TUESDAY. Why Tony Martin? Well, because he’s the fucking Cat and because Tony Martin fucking rules. This week we’re heading back in time to check out Tony’s humble beginnings in the early 80’s hard rock band, The Alliance.

Say what you want but this shit is bad to the fucking bone. There’s no denying when listening to this song that you could hear the sheer power, range, and soul behind the voice of Tony Martin. Matter of fact, I can even hear future Sabbath songs in this composition as the melody totally fits the mold that would be used later on. I think it’s also easy to see just how someone thought that Martin would be a great fit for Black Sabbath. It’s so cool to hear this early Tony Martin material and I’ll definitely be seeking more of this stuff out soon.

About Don de Leaumont

Don (aka. The Brainfart) has been a heavy metal fan since hearing it for the first time in 1983. Don is also repsonsible for all of the typos, shitty grammar, and kick ass content on this site. Don likes cheap beer, whiskey, Coca Cola Icees, going to shows, and hanging with his kick ass wife, two cats and dog. He originally wanted to name his dog Shandi but his wife said, "No fucking way."
