Queensryche/Operation: Mindcrime mastermind Geoff Tate is once again taking his music to a whole other level as he announces his The Whole Story Acoustic Tour. What is going to make this tour so special? Well, Geoff Tate will be performing music from his 35 year career in an acoustic format.
According the an official press release, Geoff Tate will present his upcoming show all acoustically with himself backed by a 7 piece acoustic band of musicians from the United States and Ireland. Geoff’s acoustic band will feature 3 guitar players, mandolin, Cello, saxophone, violin and multiple percussion instruments to produce a high energy acoustic version of some of the heavy metal genres most recognized songs.
This is definitely going to be an amazing tour and a show not to be missed. The US leg of the Whole Story Acoustic Tour kicks off at the Culture room in Fort Lauderdale and will wind down on April 15 at The Rockpile in Toronto, Canada.
