Queensryche To Release 20th Anniversary of “Empire” In September

On September 14th, Queensryche will release the 20th Anniversary of “Empire” via EMI Music. “Empire” is the bands most successful album to date and in all honesty one of my all time favorites. As a band, Queensryche always pushed the envelope and challenged the standard Metal Band stereotype. “Empire” was heavy, melodic, dark and beautiful all at the same time. In addition to the band releasing the album re-mastered, the release will come with a 2nd disc of live material from 1990’s “Building Empires” tour. These tracks were recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon, London on November 15, 1990 and have never been officially released before. This is a great gift to the fans and I am really looking forward to this release.
