Motley Crue Movie Is A No Go… YAY!

So I don’t believe in God but there must be some higher power up there that stopped this from happening.  Turns out that MTV Productions/Paramount Pictures were originally slated to release a movie version of the band’s 2001 memoir “The Dirt”.  The film’s director Larry Charles even said that “The Dirt” was “so much better than they deserve, the book, because MÖTLEY CRÜE is a crappy band but (author Neil Strauss) wrote a really epic book about them. It’s really fascinating.”

Wow, so even the director of their movie thinks they’re a crappy band!  There are so many other bands that I’d rather see a movie about but really… do we really need another “sex, drugs and rock & roll” movie?  Matter of fact, if you wanna see a movie like this, just go watch “This Is Spinal Tap” instead.

Seriously, the world needs a movie about Motley Crue about as much as the worlds needs a new Guns N’ Roses record.
