Guns N’ Roses’ Rumored 2011 Tour Dates Released

After making little more than a thud with the release of “Chinese Democracy”, Guns N’ Roses took to the road on a less than successful tour that featured many cancellations and the now legendary “late starts” where shows were started as much as 3 hours later than scheduled. I personally think it’s absolutely ridiculous that anyone would continue to pay Axl and his band of misfits. When I pay to see a show, I expect to be entertained, engaged and done so on time or close to it. Axl’s attitude that it is his right to go on stage when he feels like doing so makes me sick. While this is true, I have to say that the shows that did go on without a hitch were marathon shows (well over 2 hours) and were met with decent reviews. I’d be a liar if I didn’t say that a side of me is largely curious and wouldn’t mind taking in a show. Maybe that is the appeal to this line up’s shows.

The Guns N’ Roses fan site GNRdaily.com has posted details of a rumored North American tour, speculating that more are on the way, though we can’t verify the authenticity of the dates or venues. These are RUMORS of course and the fact that the tour is set to start in Atlanta is a shocker. I think the last time Guns N’ Roses played in Atlanta was in 1987 while supporting Motley Crue. They were slated to play here on their “Skin N’ Bones” tour in 1993 but it was rumored that the show was canceled because Axl was refused the key to the city. I wouldn’t doubt it. Either way, here are the rumored tour dates.
