Drivin’ N’ Cryin’ To Be Honored At Georgia State Capitol Today

Legendary Georgia roots rockers Drivin’ N’ Cryin’ will honored at the Georgia State Capitol on March 10th. The State of Georgia House of Representatives has invited Drivin N Cryin to appear before the General Assembly on this day of March 10, 2011 to be recognized and commended for their music, charity, service and cultural contributions. This resolution was both drafted and introduced to the Assembly by Rep. Margaret Kaiser. I think it’s pretty safe to say that Rep. Kaiser kicks ass.

It’s nice to see our boys getting some respect and recognition. For over 20 years Drivin’ N’ Cryin has had some pretty amazing benefit concerts to aid the homeless, hungry and down on their luck people of Georgia. Hats off to Kevn, Tim, Mac, Dave, Buren and Jeff for all that they have done over the years for the less fortunate. Enjoy your day fellas. You’ve earned this one in a huge way!
