Metal legends Iron Maiden kicked off the final leg of their extensive Somewhere Back in Time World Tour 2008 – 2009 on Tuesday, February 10 at the Belgrade Arena in Belgrade, Serbia. The band played to a massive stadium audience and the set list was as follows:

While there were no real surprises to the set list, it appears to be a safe yet strong set. It’s a tad different from the previous leg of the tour and the encore, in my opinion, while not as strong did contain one of my all time favorites, “The Evil That Men Do”. I know Maiden gets a lot of flack for not mixing it up nearly enough. C’mon ‘arry, give us some surprises! Give us some variation. Then again, a Maiden setlist is like pizza. Even at it’s worst or blandest, it’s STILL fucking great.
The band will play this tours final date in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on April 2 at the BankAtlantic Center. This date also marks the bands first Florida concert in over 13 years. Look like Eddie will be getting his swim trunks ready to party down for Spring Break this year! If you are in the Florida area, GO SEE THIS TOUR! It was an absolutely mind blowing experience and they are sure to not disappoint.
