Atlanta Will Be Rockin’ With Dokken On July 22!

Dokken has been a band that has proved to be one of the most recognizable names of the 80’s hard rock/metal circuit. Who hasn’t heard or said the phrase “Rockin’ With Dokken” or “Rockin’ Like Dokken?” Dokken was a huge piece of my youth with such classic albums as “Breaking The Chains”, “Under Lock and Key” and my personal favorite “Back For The Attack.” The inner turmoil and public clashing between Don Dokken and guitarist George Lynch brought it all to a close and saw George Lynch go on to form Lynch Mob and Don Dokken releasing the stellar “Up From The Ashes” solo album.

27 years after the release of their debut album, Dokken is hitting the road again and classic members Don Dokken and Wild Mick Brown are joined by Jon Levin on guitar and Sean McNabb on bass guitar. I haven’t seen Dokken since the “Back From The Attack” tour so you can only imagine how pumped I am to see these guys in action. What I love so much about these shows is that it’s like a time machine to a time when not much more mattered than getting up front to see your favorite band and losing yourself in the performance. Seeing Dokken will be a blast from the past for most and while I’m sure we can expect to hear all the classics, hopefully Dokken will treat us to some new material as well. This will undoubtedly be a fun night of rockin’ with Dokken.

Dokken will be performing in Atlanta at Wild Bill’s on July 22nd. General admission tickets cost $15 in advance and $21 at the door; tickets for table seats cost $25; and tickets for VIP seating cost $50-$100.
