Graveyard Announce 2013 North American Tour Support Band

Swedish face melters Graveyard are about to embark on an extensive North American tour in support of their latest album Lights Out. Graveyard absolutely killed it overseas at the tail end of 2012 and from what I saw/heard, their chops are in top form and they’re sounding tighter and better than ever.

Graveyard announced their pick for the opening slot via their official Facebook page. This time around Graveyard tapped California psychrockers The Shrine. Graveyard had this to say:

It’s only a few weeks until we start off our US tour now. We hope you folks are as excited as us. This time we’ve got an awesome power trio from California supporting us – The Shrine. If you haven’t checked them out already, you better get to it.

I gave The Shrine a listen and I haven’t really quite made up my mind as to whether I like them or not. They have that classic psychedelic rock thing going on but with a bit of a punk edge to them. I’ll have to give them a few more spins but why don’t you check them out for yourself?
