Skid Row has announced that their upcoming Atlanta performance has been postponed to a now posted later date. The concert (originally scheduled for Sat., June 25) will now take place on Friday, Sept. 16, and will close out the Summer Rock Series. Other shows in the lineup still include: Aaron Lewis on Fri., July 15, Dokken on Fri., July 22, and Cinderella on Fri., July 29.
According to the band, the postponement is due to a band member injury. Guitarist Scotti Hill recently broke his hand while the band was on tour. On Twitter, Hill said, “”It wasn’t that bad; I didn’t even cry. Besides, this is rock and roll. If you haven’t had some injures, you’re not doing it right.”
Skid Row plans to make it worth the fans’ wait by playing a set representing every one of the band’s records, featuring hit songs as well as several tunes even some fans might not expect.
Skid Row headlines the show with opening acts Bigfoot and Rockets to Ruin. The doors at Wild Bill’s open at 7:30 p.m., the concert begins at 9:30 p.m., and the dance party will continue after the concert until 2 a.m. General admission tickets cost $15 in advance and $21 at the door; tickets for table seats cost $25; and tickets for VIP seating cost $50-$100.
