Cameron Crowe To Release David Crosby: Remember My Name Documentary

David Crosby is a man that has been a huge influence and musical inspiration for many years. David Crosby is what I consider to be one the greatest songwriters that ever lived. “Long Time Gone”, “Guinevere,” “Homeward Through the Haze,” and “The Lee Shore,” just to name a few are songs that have shaped me as a musician and moved met to tears. It seems only appropriate that after all these years somebody has stepped up to the plate to make a documentary of this living legend; a man who probably shouldn’t be alive and has beat death many more times than once.

Sundance sensation David Crosby: Remember My Name is a profile as unlikely as it is undeniable. This inspired collaboration between director A.J. Eaton and producer Cameron Crowe coaxes Crosby into unflinching candor as the singer-songwriter confronts mortality and assesses all the damage of earlier days. At the same time, the redemptive journey “Croz” takes back to making music is universally inspiring and uplifting, bearing an emotional impact that transcends the rock documentary genre.
